The BD Group has helped deliver a staggering 16,000+ free school meals to schools across the borough of Barking and Dagenham.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed Chairman, Lord Robert Kerslake. A respected leader and visionary, Lord Kerslake made an indelible impact on BD Group.

BD Group is a company at the heart of the community. They are proud to be based in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and proud of their dedicated team, many of whom are local residents themselves. They deliver services in the community with the community. As such, they once again gave something back to their community and the next generation of young people by sponsoring the annual Colin Pond Trust Scholarship Awards for the second year in a row.

Barking and Dagenham School Meals Week took place from 14th - 18th of November. This initiative was supported locally by BD Together, who cater school meals for two thirds of the schools in Barking and Dagenham. The theme this year was “Together we make a difference”.

BD Group is a company at the heart of our community. They are proud to be based in Dagenham and want to give something back to their neighbours and to the local community by organising a monthly community litter pick. The first took place on Yew Tree Avenue at 2.30pm on Wednesday 9^th November with Leader of Barking and Dagenham Council, Cllr Darren Rodwell. This is in support of the council’s campaign for a Cleaner, Greener Barking & Dagenham. The campaign calls on residents to do their bit to help create a cleaner and greener borough.

Midway through National School Meals Week and what a success it has been so far! The children at our schools in Barking and Dagenham have really enjoyed the special menus, including today's #RoastDinnerDay, leading to a significant increase in meal uptake every day.

Day 1 of National School Meals Week has been a great success! The children at our schools across Barking and Dagenham loved our Power Lunch menu and learning about healthy eating through our Eat and Learn initiative.

With one week to go until National School Meals Week (NSMW), BD Group is geared up and ready to support this important initiative organised by LACA, the school food people.

BD Group was delighted to be the main sponsor of the Colin Pond Scholarship Awards which were held on Thursday 21st October at the Broadway Theatre in Barking.
