Hundreds flock to BD Group’s family fun day
Hundreds of employees and their families turned out for BD Group’s first ever fun day on August 26th, organised as a thank you to staff.
The event, arranged by the People’s Services team, was in recognition of the support and unwavering commitment of staff to the business and an opportunity for everyone to come together, relax and enjoy quality time with colleagues and families.
A range of local entertainers and businesses also attended, as part of the group’s commitment to promoting social responsibility and fostering meaningful partnerships between businesses and community organisations.
There was something for everyone including a dedicated children’s area, games and activities, an array of great food, refreshments, live music, and dance performances.
Acting CEO, Darren Tranter said: “We’re thrilled that our first ever family fun day went so well. People make successful companies, and the fun day recognised the ongoing effort and hard work of our staff.
We wouldn’t be where we are without them, and we are always willing to listen to any concerns or ideas they have to make the BD Group a better place to work.
We believe that a happy and motivated workforce is key to our continued success and the fun day reinforced the company’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture that values teamwork and camaraderie”.
