BDT achieves Food for Life accreditation!

Food for life

We are thrilled to announce that BDT has once again achieved the Silver Food for Life accreditation!

This accreditation reaffirms our commitment to providing wholesome, sustainable, and nourishing food options to our valued customers. We believe that what we serve is not just a meal but a meaningful choice for a healthier and more sustainable future.

The Food for Life Initiative has been driving innovation and solutions around good food, what that means, and how this can be achieved; by ensuring that the food we eat works with our climate, nature, and  health.

Donna Thacker, Acting Operations Director of BDT said: “Our team has worked tirelessly to maintain the highest standards of food quality, sourcing, and preparation, ensuring that every bite you enjoy aligns with our core values. We are proud to continue supporting local farmers and suppliers, reducing our environmental footprint, and promoting a culture of wellness through our diverse menu offerings.

“Thank you for being a part of our journey to make the world a healthier place, one meal at a time. We look forward to serving you with even more delicious, nutritious, and environmentally conscious options in the years to come”.

The FFL Schools Awards enable schools to grow, cook and share good food, which helps children make healthy habits that last a lifetime. Ensuring all children have a hot healthy meal every day means they’re all set to learn.
