BD Group thrilled to be the London Representative for National School Meals Week
With one week to go until National School Meals Week (NSMW), BD Group is geared up and ready to support this important initiative organised by LACA, the school food people. The theme of this year’s NSMW is ‘The School Tucker Trial’ with the aim to get children back to eating and enjoying hot school lunches.
As part of NSMW, LACA is undertaking a virtual tour of the country during the week, and we are proud to have been chosen as their representative for the whole of London. This means that our school catering services and the talents of our school chefs will be showcased throughout the week by LACA to highlight the importance of healthy schools meals.
In addition to serving special theme menus throughout the week, we will be promoting our ‘Eat and Learn’ initiative in our schools, with special activities for the children that will help them learn about the importance of healthy eating.
