BD Group joins forces with LBBD on Easter HAF Programme
BD Group is proud to announce its collaboration with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) on the 2024 Easter Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme.
Designed to promote healthy lifestyles and foster educational development, the initiative aims to provide an enriching experience for children aged 5 to 16 during the Easter break.
The Easter HAF Programme, made possible through the partnership between BD Group and LBBD, offers a wide range of engaging activities that combine fun and education. From sports and arts to cooking and outdoor adventures, children will have the opportunity to explore new interests while staying active and healthy.
Donna Thacker, BD Group's Acting Operations Director said: "Through HAF, we hope to empower children with the tools they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
“The programme includes nutritious meals to ensure that participating children receive proper nourishment throughout the day. By emphasising the importance of balanced nutrition alongside physical activity, BD Group and LBBD aim to instil lifelong habits of wellness in the young participants. The initiative aligns with our commitment to supporting the well-being and development of children in our community. Together, we can make a positive impact on their lives.”
The Easter HAF Programme runs from Friday 29 March to Friday 12 April. Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children early to secure a spot.
