Rebecca Johnson - Director
Rebecca joined the BD Group Board as a Non-Executive Director in July 2025, initially while serving as Director of Public Realm at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
In November 2025, she moved to the London Borough of Newham as Corporate Director of Environment and Sustainable Transport.
Rebecca has built a long and varied career across frontline operational services within local government and private organisations and has extensive experience leading large-scale public realm, environmental and frontline service operations.
Her career has focused on delivering high-quality services for residents while driving organisational improvement and operational excellence.
Rebecca provides our Board with balanced, supportive and constructive challenge, helping to ensure BD Group continues to evolve as a strong and sustainable organisation within the sector.
