Chris Martin - Interim Chair
Chris has worked in the public sector for more than 25 years and is a highly experienced Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) qualified professional in audit, risk and assurance.
He has a strong track record of planning and delivering extensive financial management and internal audit programmes across a range of different services and organisations including at the London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Barking & Dagenham and Islington. He currently works as Assistant Director – Internal Audit & Risk, at the London Borough of Islington.
For the past four years, Chris has also served in a voluntary role as the Chair of Governors at a primary school in Colchester, Essex.
