BD Group joins Daggers to Celebrate Diversity Day

We proactively look to offer employment and training opportunities to local people and support initiatives to provide employment opportunities to young and disadvantaged people.

We aim to improve the overall health of the Borough by investing in the development of our team, teaching life skills, such as cooking, through after school classes and delivering workshops to promote good health across the community.

Scores of local people converged at Dagenham and Redbridge FC’s ground on Saturday 24^th February to take part in their annual Daggers Celebrate Diversity Day.

For the fourth consecutive year, BD Group sponsored the event which aims to celebrate cultural diversity across the borough and highlight efforts to promote community engagement.

The day featured a range of activities, including a penalty shoot-out, inflatables, cricket, music, free give-aways, and a giant crane ride for children. A number of guests were also in attendance including the army, the police, the fire brigade, and representatives from the Mayor of London’s office.

Two-walk-out teams made up of young people from schools in the borough, accompanied the players onto the pitch before spectators were treated to a thrilling match between Dagenham & Redbridge FC and FC Halifax Town.
