Meet our 2026 Apprentices
Meet our new apprentices who have all started work with us at BD Group (September 1).
We have taken on nine apprentices, all aged up to 23 and from the local area, with eight in our repairs and maintenance section and one in transformation.
Pictured with this post are seven of them who were at The Cube in the first week of September 2026 taking part in their induction sessions before meeting the teams they will continue their training with.
We are pleased to say that all our apprentices showed a huge amount of enthusiasm during their interviews and demonstrated how they will bring energy and a commitment to their learning at BD Group. We are really proud to support their development.
The eight in our Repairs and Maintenance team will be working in plumbing, bricklaying and carpentry while one apprentice will work as an apprentice project manager in our transformation team.
Their apprenticeships with BD Group will provide them with a huge boost as they start their careers and learn their trades - something that will hopefully help them throughout their working lives.
Sarah Ryan, our Interim Chief Executive, said: “I am really proud that we are able to take on so many apprentices this year.
"I wish every apprentice the very best of luck as they start what I hope will be extremely rewarding careers.”
